The Techno Library License Agreement

THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT (the "Agreement") is made and entered into on the date of download, access, or use of The Techno Library digital products (the "Products") by the user (the "Licensee"). The Products are owned by The Techno Library (Kai Geddes) (the "Licensor"). By downloading or using the Products, the Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

1. Definition of Terms

"Samples" means audio files that can be used in music production, including but not limited to drum loops, drum one-shots, percussion sounds, and FX supplied within the Products.

"Presets" means predetermined settings for Xfer Serum (latest available version) / Serum 2 (latest available version), including but not limited to leads, basses, pads, plucks, and synth sounds.

"Demo Track" means the audio track provided to demonstrate an example of what can be created using the Samples and/or Presets from the Product.

2. Ownership of Copyright

All copyright and intellectual property rights in the Products remain the property of the Licensor. The Licensor reserves the right to restrict usage of the Products if the Licensee violates this Agreement.

3. Usage of Samples (Drum Loops / Drums / FX)

The Samples are royalty-free, and the Licensee may use the Samples for commercial purposes in original music productions, including releases on streaming platforms, label releases, DJ sets, live performance, and content creation.

However, the Licensee shall not:

• Use the Samples (in whole or in part) to create, sell, upload, share, or distribute any sample pack, sound library, loop pack, or competing product (free or paid).
• Resell, re-upload, redistribute, share, or gift the Samples as standalone files, including via any file sharing service or community platform.

4. Usage of Presets (Serum)

The Presets are royalty-free, and the Licensee may use the Presets for commercial purposes in original music productions.

However, the Licensee shall not:

• Distribute the Presets in any way (free or paid) without written permission from the Licensor.
• Use the Presets (or modified versions of them) to create, sell, upload, share, or distribute any preset pack/sound bank or competing product.

5. Usage of Demo Track

The Demo Track is provided for demonstration and promotional listening only.

The Licensee shall not:

• Upload, distribute, or claim the Demo Track as their own work.
• Use the Demo Track for commercial release, sync placement, or content monetisation as if it is the Licensee's original track.

(For clarity: you can use the Samples/Presets to create your own track — just not redistribute the included demo track.)

6. Disclaimer

The Licensee agrees that the Licensor shall not be liable for any damages to hardware, software, equipment, or health resulting from the download and use of the Products. The Licensee acknowledges that continuous listening to loud music through speakers, earbuds, or headphones may cause hearing loss.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland / United Kingdom.

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties.
